SOB: Jose Gonzalez- With the Ink of a Ghost (Thanks to my bestfriend for showing me this one!)
My course is wrapping up. We are on our last couple weeks, and our last couple assignments. I am relieved, and super nervous/pumped for next year. I have gotten some news that I will be playing for Capilano's Women's Volleyball team in Vancouver,BC. I'm looking forward to living on my own, and experiencing some Vancouver "laid-back lifestyle." Anyways, back to the blog post! This week on the blog I decided to talk (or write...in this case) about my major client. Major client is when we are required to get 50 hours of shooting for a charity business that we got assigned to at the start of the semester. My group got assigned Arts on the Ave. Arts on the ave is a business that wants to "revamp" 118 ave and make it more friendly and family orientated. Arts on the ave believe that art is very important and should be valued. (Agreed!!) One of my assignments for them was that they wanted me to photograph all of the different businesses all along 118 to show the diversity that Edmonton has. Here are a few shots from one of my favourite restaurants that my classmate (Gen from Genevieve Imagery) and I came across, Lan's. Lan's is an asian grill with FANTASTIC food and an even better staff! (If you get a chance to go there and have a brave pallet, I would recommend the green curry with coconut rice).
My experience shooting for Lan's was super fun and I am revisiting forsure.
Hope your Monday doesn't suck too bad,
Abby
